One type of chests is locked with red numbers and one is locked with black numbers. In the halls of the Invincibles and the rooms directly next to it, there are two kinds of chests. In the far east of the labyrinth the Star Shaped amulet needs to be inserted to open the gate to the portal to the invincibles room. If you've refused Xalabar to search for the Sceptre of the Winds, you will not be able to continue here. To do this you'll need to have opened the eastern labyrinth in the quest Through the Clockwork Crypts into the Darkwind Keep. Inside is a Star Shaped Amulet that you'll need to get to the rooms of the Invincibles. This chest can only be unlocked by spending Zerbites coins inside. If you've won the duel, you'll be given access to an old chest to the northeast of the ghost. Only lever that isn't working is your middle-right lever since it is broken. However you can try to see where he's standing and try to undo his last turn by pressing the same lever on your side. Since his behaviour is entirely random, there is no real solution for this. He will turn levers randomly and make some already solved plates go back on again. It is pretty similar to the ones before but there is a Zerbite Ghost trying to block you. North of the 7 column puzzle the rune warrior then met another eye puzzle. In both chests you can find each an Air Coin, a Skull Coin and some generic high level spell scrolls. Then press all columns to open the other chest. To do this you first need to press the two columns to each side to open one chest. One chest can only be opened if all columns are turned black and the other only if all columns are turned golden. To the south of the Clockwork Crypts there are seven stone columns with two chests. Inside the chest the rune warrior could find the artefact Earthrage, an Air Coin, the Rune Archer Ulme's rune and a generic high level spell scroll. ![]() To open the chest the rune warrior has to activate the northern 1st and 4th menhir and the southern 2nd and 3rd menhir. There are 8 menhirs in total with 4 to both north and the south of the chest. These torches all need to be lit at the same time. ![]() South of the halls of the Flayed Guardians there is a chest surrounded by 6 light torches. Inside the chest there is the Hadeko Puppet of the Mentor, an Air Coin and a generic high level spell scroll. To open the chest the rune warrior has to activate the northern 3rd and 4th menhir and the southern 2nd and 4th menhir. South of the halls of the Flayed Guardians there is a chest surrounded by 8 light torches. If you play as the Shadow Warrior, you'll be given control of the Ragefire, Spiderbrood and the Cyclops. If you play as the Phoenix Bearer you'll be given control over the Rocksmith, the Griffon Rider and the Treant. If you succeed you will be given control over three titan units. If you are doing some mistakes, some undead will appear and attack the rune warrior. ![]() The combination required to solve the puzzel is shown here or below. Touching the menhir will show a sequence of lights going on and off but the screen also is rotated so it is quite hard to keep track of the different lights. Southwest of the hero monument in the north, there are lots of torches surrounded by a menhir. The number could be seen below the chests or you can just do it as stated in the following table. After the final chest was opened, the guardians will die. There were some Flayed Guardians that guarding chests that were locked but they could be opened in a specific order.
